I have waited for this book for so long! Love Defined by Kristen Clark and Bethany Baird. The GirlDefined blog has made a big impact on my life. As soon as I read the title of Love Defined, I knew that it would be a must read.
This book was so good, I don’t even know where to start! There were two specific things that I was hoping to learn from this book. The first thing was how I can prepare for a relationship now, as a teenage single girl, and the second thing I wanted to learn was how to have God-honoring friendships with guys. To my great delight, both of my questions were answered in a biblical manner. My favorite chapters were chapters 7, 9, and 10. They discussed being just friends with guys, how to thrive as a single girl, and the topic that impacted me the most, God’s Timeless Method for Lasting Relationships. A lot of the people around me are in a relationship. Not only am I not allowed to have a boyfriend right now, No guy has ever shown any interest in dating me. I saw that with God’s Timeless Method for Lasting Relationships, I can cultivate a heart of godliness and be more prepared to have a God-honoring relationship whenever I do get into one. In a culture obsessed with love and romance, why is it so hard for us the find satisfying love that lasts? Maybe we’ve been looking at this thing called love all wrong. —Love Defined I give this book a 5 out of 5 rating. It’s so insightful and encouraging. I highly recommend that you buy this book for yourself, your friends, sisters, cousins, nieces, daughters, and any other females in your life!

Courage for the Unknown Season is a book about having hope for difficult times. It is a very encouraging book. If you're in a dark and seemingly hopeless situation, I highly suggest grabbing a copy of this book by Jan Silvious.
I received this book from Tyndale Blog Network in exchange for my honest review. This book is a great resource for Christian mothers. I gave it to my mom for Christmas and she really enjoyed it. It gives tips on loving your children and how to raise a Godly family.
I recieved this book from Blogging for Books in return for my honest review. I really loved the book. Every day, there are scriptures about peace and place where you can draw, paint, tape pictures, or anything else relating to art that remind you of peace. I gave the book as a gift to my sister and she absolutely loved it. Great book!
I absolutely love this book! It's written to help teens find their true identity in Christ. By reading this book, I have achieved that. Throughout the book, Majors explains what things help to shape your identity. The people you spend time around: your parents, siblings, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, mentors, etc.; your faith and what you believe and why you believe it, and many other things. Overall, great book!
I received this book from Bethany Publishers House in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review. |
MissionIn short, I started this blog because I want to give girls all over the world hope. All of the topics I write about on this blog are things that I have struggled with or am still struggling with. I want to help young women everywhere achieve freedom through Christ. Archives
