[Cast all your anxiety on him, for he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7]
Today's post is a continuous from Friday. If you didn't catch it, you can read it here Don't Be Anxious. Today I will give a 5 lettered acronym to help you overcome anxiety. The first step to overcoming anxiety is to be B.R.A.V.E. Breathe Sometimes, especially when life gets hectic and you start to get anxious, you just need to breathe. We can get anxious over a lot of different things (see my last post for specifics). Just stop and take a breath. Remember Sometimes, God allows us to go through things so that when we get anxious, we can remember what he helped us through and think "He helped me through it once, He can help me through it again". Ask Sometimes, God is just waiting for us to ask Him for help. If we faithfully ask, He will help us. That's a promise [The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. Psalm 37:17]. Visualize Even when we can't see Jesus in the midst of our storms, we can visualize Him with our heart. Elevate When you're climbing a mountain, the pressure goes down the higher up you go. You may be in the valley right now but as you climb up the mountain, the pressure will decrease. God commands us to not be anxious. He says that if we cast all our anxiety on Him He will care for us. When you're battling anxiety, remember to be BRAVE.

MissionIn short, I started this blog because I want to give girls all over the world hope. All of the topics I write about on this blog are things that I have struggled with or am still struggling with. I want to help young women everywhere achieve freedom through Christ. Archives
