The world is full of problems. People have struggles. Sometimes people close to us, like our friends or family. We see them going through difficult situations and we want to help. But how can we help? We can't fix the problems or make them go away with the snap of a finger. So what can we do? Here are 4 effective things we can do for a friend or loved one who is struggling.
1. Pray This is the most important and the most effective thing you can do for a friend who is in trouble. You may not think that it will do much good, but prayer is the most powerful thing anyone can do. God really hears your prayers and He really does answer them. 2. Listen Sometimes it helps to just have someone who will take the time to listen to you. Let your friend know that if they need to talk, you're there. Then give them your full attention and listen. 3. Offer To Help Sometimes there really is nothing we can do about certain problems. But if there is a way to help, let your friend know that you're willing to help them. 4. Let Them Know That You're There For Them Tell your friend that no matter what they're going through, you'll stand by their side. Don't ditch them just because they're struggling. They need a friend now more than ever. Go through the problem with them. Treat it as if it were your own problem. Talk together, spend time together, and, most importantly, pray together.

MissionIn short, I started this blog because I want to give girls all over the world hope. All of the topics I write about on this blog are things that I have struggled with or am still struggling with. I want to help young women everywhere achieve freedom through Christ. Archives
